The lateral protectors stay put even when I shift around in bed, which was my biggest worry after surgery. I’ve been using the slimming board for about ten days now and it contours nicely without digging into my ribs, and the foam feels dense enough to actually shape rather than just flatten.
The compression is firm but breathable enough that I can actually sleep in it, and the separate board plus the two side pads mean my shape is holding steady even when I roll over at night. Recovery’s been a lot less stressful knowing everything stays exactly where it should.
The lateral protectors sit snugly without digging in, which made sleeping on my side way more bearable than I expected. Only caveat is the board feels a bit stiff for the first couple days until you get used to it, but the compression is doing its job nicely.
